2. Hosting

This site is hosted on shared infrastructure operated by ALL-INKL.COM — Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The hosting provider processes server log data on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR, order processing agreement in place). Log data typically includes: IP address, date and time of request, requested URL, referrer, user agent, HTTP status, and transferred bytes. Logs are retained for a short period for the purpose of operating the site and protecting it against attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website).

3. What this site does with your data

This site is a static page. It does not contain forms, comments, accounts, or any feature that would collect personal data from you directly. The only personal data processed are:

• server log data, as described under Hosting above;
• optional analytics data, only if you accept — see Google Analytics below.

4. Google Analytics (GA4)

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-G5X7LPY1P8), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Analytics is loaded only after you actively consent via the banner shown on your first visit (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG). No analytics scripts, cookies, or requests run before you accept.

If you accept, Google sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) and collects information such as: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address (IP anonymisation is enabled via anonymize_ip), referrer, and timestamps. This data is transferred to Google servers, which may include servers in the United States. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection (Art. 45 GDPR).

I use this data only in aggregate, to understand how many visits the site receives and which pages are read. I do not combine analytics data with other information about you.

Storage period: the GA4 property is configured with the default retention for user-level data. Cookies set by Google Analytics typically expire after up to 24 months.

Revoking your consent removes the stored choice and deletes the Google Analytics cookies set by this site. You can also block the relevant cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. External links

This site links to external properties (e.g. iamyb.com, executionisbetter.com, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, GitHub, valantic.com). When you follow such a link, the receiving site applies its own privacy policy. I have no influence over which data they collect.

6. Fonts and assets

Typography (Inter) is self-hosted on the same server as the site. No requests to Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN are made for fonts. The only third-party request made by this site is to Google Analytics, and only after your consent.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• request information about whether and which personal data of yours is processed (Art. 15);
• request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
• request deletion of your data (Art. 17);
• request restriction of processing (Art. 18);
• data portability (Art. 20);
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
• withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3));
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). The competent authority for me is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
